Evenflo Company, Inc. and Transport Canada wish to inform the public of an error on both the English language label (numbered 25802355) and the French language label (numbered 25802349) where there is a warning stating that the restraint cannot be used on aircraft.The label number is printed on the lower right hand corner.This warning statement on these labels is not correct and conflicts with the information provided in the instruction manual.
Page 7 of the English language manual and page 7 of the French language manual both state correctly that the subject Triumph Advance models can be used on aircraft.
The labels, in both official languages, have been corrected in all subsequent units manufactured.The manufacturer will provide replacement stick-on labels upon request.
Evenflo Company, Inc. and Transport Canada wish to inform all parents and caregivers of the error so as to eliminate any possibility of confusion and possible inconvenience.
